Detecting moving object and measuring the range from camera
by time series stereo images
This paper describes detection of moving objects and
range measurement of each moving object
from time series stereo images.
Moving object regions are extracted from modified consecutive images.
The moving regions are divided into small regions,
and the disparity of each region is determined.
Experiments are made for some outdoor scenes with a moving crane.
The crane is correctly detected,
and the disparity of it is correctly obtained.
