Realtime Image Processor "ISHTAR-II"

ISHTAR-II is developed by Fujitsu. It can process an sequential image from TV camera in at most 1/30 par frame. ISHTAR-II includes DSP-board(s) and VIDEO-board(s). Each DSP board has a DSP(Texus Instruments TMS320C40) with I/O buses and memories. The VIDEO board transfer an analog image from TV-camera to a digital one. A results processed in DSP boards are sent to VIDEO board, which transfer the result (digital) image to the analog image. I/O buses can be connected to each other arbitrary.
